Took a break because I’m lazy but I’m back with 6 items you should probably have in your wardrobe for fall.
Leather is IT this season, it’s literally everywhere. So I found the most buttery soft pair of faux leather leggings. They fit TTS but definitely need to get them hemmed on my 5’4 figure. I have a pair of the Spanx version and I 100% recommend the commando ones instead.
Going off the leather trend, I found my new favorite faux leather jacket under $100. I cannot believe this is still in stock. I sized up to a L for an oversized fit & so I could layer pieces underneath it when it gets colder. I have worn this with everything, midi dresses, cheetah skirts, jeans, sweats. It goes with everything. I have a real leather jacket but I have been reaching for this one way more than my other one.
Another item I have been loving is my tan ‘shacket‘. This thicker shirt meets jacket has been a staple in my fall wardrobe, wearing it with anything I can think of. It’s the perfect over-sized fit, and warm enough to wear just a t shirt under if you want. It’s also super trendy & gives off that ‘I stole this from my boyfriend’s closet’ vibes.
These sneakers are like walking on a cloud. I sized up half a size per the website rec and I’m so happy I did. Their neutral coloring makes them a closet staple as they truly go with anything.
Once it hits below 50 it’s officially hat weather. I love hats for two reasons, one is they make any outfit cuter IMO and 2 they hide your second day hair that needs to be washed. A neutral beanie is a must.
& finally, this might not be for everyone, but I really do think a silk midi dress is a neutral staple to have. I was really against it up until like 3 weeks ago. My mom forced me to buy one at Zara back in February even though I absolutely hated it. Fast forward to August when it had been sitting in my closet for 5 months I randomly tried it on with a leather jacket and sneakers and I was hooked. Mine is sold out but this is another great dress from Zara and it’s under $50.
